Welcome to the TBL-i Community

This section of the broader WCM Vector platform has been specifically set up to make available the instruments and other knowledge products developed within the ‘Toekomstbestendige Leefomgeving Infra’ (Future-proof Living Environment Infrastructure, TBL-i) programme. Within TBL-i, public clients, contractors such as construction companies and consultancy and engineering firms, knowledge institutions and newcomers such as start-ups and scale-ups work together to strengthen and renew the Dutch infrastructure in a smart, data-driven way. The aim: to analyse and extend the service life of existing civil structures, to test materials, processes and techniques for the future-proof replacement of bridges, quay walls and roads, and to develop a concrete framework for data-driven asset management and maintenance. TBL-i has an open character and welcomes complementary participants who wish to join at a later stage. The TBL-i Community contains an extensive library of knowledge products, with validated knowledge from the TBL-i programme.

The TBL-i Community continues to develop. The aim of the Community is for us to learn from and with each other. The first step in this has been taken by the TBL-i consortium, but we welcome insights from others. We therefore warmly invite you to contribute to the community yourself. You can do this in several ways:

  • Responding to knowledge products: Ask questions, give substantive responses, or share your additions, suggestions and ideas. You can do this by logging in with your account on WCM Vector. Leave a comment on a knowledge product on the Knowledge Products page.

  • Start a discussion: Do you have a question, or would you like to discuss a topic that is not tied to a specific knowledge product? Would you like to share your own experiences with future-proof infrastructure? You can do this by logging in with your account on WCM Vector. Make yourself heard on the Topics page.

  • Sharing your own knowledge products: Become a member of the TBL-i Community by submitting a request via the blue "Request to participate" button in the header. Newly submitted knowledge products are checked for quality by the Knowledge Owner of the TBL-i Community.

Read more about how you can contribute to the TBL-i Community in the Topic "TBL-i Community: How can you take part?". We look forward to working together and sharing knowledge. Enjoy the platform! Do you have questions, ideas or suggestions? Then leave a message on the Topics page or send an email to info@worldclassmaintenance.com. Many thanks!
